In Kelantan, this ubi is known as ubi keling, and favorite among old timers. In our flickr photodepositories, someone call it Stemona curtissii, which was obviously wrong. The real name for ubi kemili is S. tuberosa. The real S. curtisii is known as kemili hutan or galak tua. This is how the leaves of Stemona curtissii look like.
